Tillandsia Air Plants
This is an air plant that tolerates a fairly wide range of conditions. It is a more moisture tolerant species and doesn't need as much air flow as many other Tillandsias. The colors can range from dark purple to bright green and they can change the shape and direction of their arms (long leaves) as it follows air movement.
Because this Tillandsia can grow up to 9" it can successfully be planted in many arboreal gecko enclosures. This species does not do well in high humidity and we recommend against using it in tanks that average lower than 85%. If planting this in a more humid environment, we suggest mounting it sideways or upside down to prevent water from...
Ionanthas will be tolerant of a moderate amount of humidity but do benefit from the airflow of being mounted near an opening or aquarium fan. They will flower purple and yellow and pup relatively often.
